Enquiries will be dealt with via thetelephone and face-to-face giving advice and assistance on the whole range of District Councilservices as well as County, Parish, and the local community and other partner organisations.Enquiries will be dealt with by using various systems.We are looking for a good communicator at all levels including telephone, face-to-face and written,who is patient and cheerful and able to work under pressure. Ideally, the candidates will have extensivecomputer experience (although training will be given). The ability to provide an excellent service to allcustomers contacting the Council in accordance with the Council's Customer Charter and ensuresthat a positive image of the Council is conveyed to all customers.The postholder may be expected at times to work at any of the Customer Service Centres at SaffronWalden, Great Dunmow and Thaxted, so there is a need for the post holder to be flexible.
